Why more civil servants are resigning these days

Compared to 2002, the current salaries of civil servants have decreased relative to the minimum wage.

For Grade 9 and Grade 7 civil servants, as well as junior officers like Staff Sergeants and Second Lieutenants, the base pay is actually lower than the minimum wage.

To be generous, Grade 9 and Grade 7 civil servants at least have guaranteed tenure.
