According to the Incheon Seobu Police Station and other sources on the 1st, a sport utility vehicle (SUV) struck the side of a private ambulance at an intersection in Cheongna-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon, around 11:55 AM today.

The impact caused the private ambulance to overturn, resulting in the death of the patient, a woman in her 90s (referred to as Ms. A), and minor injuries to three others, including the driver and Ms. A's guardian.

Three people in the other vehicle, including the driver and passengers, also sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.

Investigations revealed that the private ambulance was transporting Ms. A and her guardian from a hospital in Incheon to a nursing home in Seo-gu with its siren on, but ran a red light at the intersection.
