After reviewing the 70 pages of evidence I gathered with my blood, sweat, and tears, even the Seoul Bar Association officially summarized Kwon Kyung-ae's hideous misconduct into 11 points.
She completely omitted my deceased daughter's right to claim damages from the complaint, granting the perpetrators immunity through the expiration of the statute of limitations, and she arbitrarily withdrew lawsuits against some perpetrators without my permission as the client.
Even after completely ruining the trial, she hid the fact that we lost the case for five months. This is not a mistake; it is litigation fraud and a crime.
Now, look at the statement of reasons sent by the Korean Bar Association when they rejected my petition for re-disciplinary action.
The logic of an unprecedented legal cartel that deceives the citizens of the Republic of Korea is clearly written there.
"Since lawyers perform their duties independently and freely, they have a certain amount of discretion, and it is considered that the work was performed according to professional knowledge."
I ask the Korean Bar Association:
Is omitting a deceased child's right to claim and blowing up the statute of limitations part of a lawyer's 'professional discretion'? Is withdrawing a lawsuit behind a mother's back and concealing the fact of defeat a lawyer's 'freedom'?
Even with 70 pages of evidence in their hands, the Korean Bar Association insulted the bereaved family by claiming "there is no meaningful evidence," and the Supreme Court dismissed all 11 of these hideous truths, covering it up with a ruling without any explanation.
Please share this miserable reality where the law is used as a weapon to violate victims. This is the earnest plea of a mother standing before a massive legal cliff.
And President Lee Jae-myung! When you ran as a presidential candidate, you solemnly promised the people that you would strip the Korean Bar Association of its disciplinary power.
Please keep that promise.
