"A woman screamed 'It's the serial killer!' while I was walking, so I ran away"... Jung Moon-sung shares a 'bittersweet' anecdote about the popularity of 'Scarecrow' [X's Interview]
Jung Moon-sung played the role of serial killer Lee Ki-hwan in 'Scarecrow,' which is based on a true story, and received praise for his multi-dimensional acting, transitioning from a friendly neighborhood older brother to a chilling psychopath.
Jung Moon-sung shared a bittersweet episode resulting from the popularity of 'Scarecrow,' saying, "A few days ago, I was walking my dog, and a woman saw me wearing a mask and screamed, 'It's the serial killer!' so I backed away and ran away."
He added, causing laughter, "I wouldn't exactly call it 'popularity,' but a lot of people recognize me. If there's one thing that's changed, it's that while people used to approach me in a friendly way, now it feels more like they're whispering about me."
