Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun appeared on the SBS program 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny' (hereafter Same Bed, Different Dreams 2) aired on the 2nd.

The couple faced a barrage of questions asking why they only adopt adults. Park Si-eun stated, “This is the first time we're talking about this. When we first thought about adoption, it wasn't adults. We were thinking of a child in the lower grades of elementary school. But it wasn't easy. Parental consent was required... Aside from Ji-hye, the other two children became family because we've been connected since they were young. Only Ji-hye was met as an adult. It's not that we intentionally only adopt adults.”

Jin Tae-hyun added, “Since the children are in their 20s, people have certain views. They ask why we don't adopt young children. The system is just too difficult. Ji-hye and the other daughter are not legally adopted. It is very challenging,” to which Kim Gura added, “So they are like foster daughters beyond just being sponsored.”

Jin Tae-hyun mentioned that his youngest daughter is 24 years old. He clarified the concerns, saying, “They told me that their own lives are very important, so they wanted to be protected. I don't post the two daughters [on social media], and I'm choosing not to. They are independent and have their own lives. Since I don't post them on SNS, people ask a lot. You don't have to worry too much. Everyone is doing well.”
