The person who mistook a bell for a doorbell in Jongno

This is a remake.

On August 2, 1783 (the 7th year of King Jeongjo's reign), a man from the Hoseo region named Yun Gwang-ryu was arrested for ringing the bell at Unjongga.

When the Ministry of Military Affairs interrogated him, he claimed he did it because he wanted to present oriental melons to the King.

Hong Yang-ho, the Inspector General, argued that he should be dealt with according to the law,

However, King Jeongjo ordered that since he did not act out of malicious intent, the punishment should end with banishing him to his hometown.

Correction: It is said that Yun Gwang-ryu was a member of the nobility (Sajok).
