[Exclusive] Seoul Election Commission Chairperson says 'considering various circumstances' regarding re-election questions

While the People Power Party has called for a re-election following a ballot shortage crisis, Oh Min-seok, the Chairperson of the Seoul Metropolitan City Election Commission who oversees elections in Seoul, stated that he is "considering various circumstances."

During a phone call with Maeil Shinmun around 10:20 PM on the 3rd, Chairperson Oh responded this way when asked, "The People Power Party has demanded a re-election. Please tell us your position on this."

According to the Election Commission, as of 6:20 PM that day, voters were forced to wait due to ballot shortages at 12 polling stations including the Jamsil area in Songpa-gu, Seoul, as well as one polling station in Gangnam-gu and one in Gwangjin-gu.
