NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang is discussing a meeting with professional gamer 'Faker' (Lee Sang-hyeok) during his visit to Korea this month. As NVIDIA has consistently highlighted Korean gaming, PC bangs, and e-sports culture as a key pillar of its growth narrative, this meeting is drawing attention as a convergence point between a global AI giant and the symbol of Korean e-sports.

According to industry sources on the 4th, CEO Jensen Huang is coordinating a meeting with Lee Sang-hyeok of the professional gaming team T1 during his stay in Korea. The specific location and time have not yet been finalized.

CEO Jensen Huang has long shown a special interest in the Korean gaming industry, PC bangs, and e-sports culture. A prime example was his attendance at the 'NVIDIA GeForce Gamer Festival' held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, last October, where he met with domestic gamers.
